Petition for public safety in our suburbs of Bertrams/Judith’s Paarl/Bezuidenhout Valley/Kensington/Troyeville/Observatory/Bellevue and surrounds

We the community of the above suburbs hereby petition the MEC of Public Safety and the Chief of the Gauteng south African Police Services, for immediate and precise action, to deal with the rampant crime that has overtaken our community.

We the residents of these areas have been subjected to home robberies, street robberies, assaults, murdered, hijacked, and more.

Jeppe SAPS are currently leaderless. We don’t have hardly any services from the Jeppe police station. Included in this petition we request that this matter gets investigated and that if found, that a more suitable station commander is appointed for this crucial position.

We are living in fear for ourselves, our families and our loved ones. We depend on the SAPS to protect us, yet we have no protection. We do not feel that the local SAPS at this stage, can protect this community.
