Stop Load Shedding Petition

To the city of Johannesburg council.

The Covid19 pandemic has wrecked havoc on our livelihoods and now during this cold winter period we are subjected to rolling blackouts on a daily basis.

To make matters worse, in between load shedding, power outages are not attended to by City Power in a speedily manner. City Power's turnaround time for fixing power outages is now often days, instead of hours! It is totally unacceptable that many of us have to sit days without electricity, simply due to the fact that City Power does not have enough technicians to attend to power outages, because they did not bother to renew the contracts.

We the residents of Ward 66, demand that the City of Johannesburg immediately employ enough technicians to attend to the many power outages in our ward.

We the residents of Ward 66, demand that Loadshedding stops and speedy repairs takes place!
