Petition for Road Calming Measures in Innes road Observatory

Innes road is a road that travels from Eckstein street to Observatory avenue. Innes road is also a road that has two very steep hills traveling in both directions and forming a valley at the bottom of the road.
At the top of Innes road, at the corner of Eckstein road, is a school, Sacred Heart College.

At a particular point of this road, St Georges street crosses Innes road and it happens to have a very dangerous blind spot.
Motorist traveling on this road from Eckstein to Observatory avenue, have the habit of speeding down this road, creating a very dangerous environment to cars crossing from St Georges street, especially with the blind rise.

Due to all the reasons mentioned above, we the residents of Observatory, hereby petition the City Council of Johannesburg for the implementation of road calming measures in Innes road
