Jukskei River Sluice – Implementation of Safety Precautions Petition

To the City of Johannesburg:

The Jukskei river runs right across Bezuidenhout valley from the inner city, through to the Bruma Basin.
In the past there has been an incident were two little boys drowned whilst exploring the stream and it caused a community outcry.
With huge concern, we have noticed the sluice across Bezuidenhout valley is not secured in certain places.

Therefore we the residents of Bezuidenhout valley humbly petition the city to secure all the easy access points to the Jukskei sluice, in order to protect the community from crime and to keep our children safe.
