The Councillor for ward 66 is Carlos Da Rocha and he represents the Democratic Alliance. He is a South African citizen of Portuguese decent.

He has been living in the ward for more than 30 years, so is very familiar with issues facing the community of ward 66.

Prior to his election as Councillor in 2011, he worked tirelessly as a volunteer for 5 years in and for the community of ward 66. He was a member of the Ward Committee  for  5 years and devoted himself to fighting for the community with regards to service delivery, crime and other issues faced by the community.

His devotion to the upliftment of all members of the community, has not abated since he has been elected. He is still just as accessible as he was before, with people phoning him at all hours. His dedication is unparalleled and he places the interests of the community above else.
